A theme for the 2015 Kiddie Parade has been chosen. This year's theme is "Storybooks Come to Life." Spend the summer brainstorming, and when you are struck by inspiration, try to keep purchases for your costumes and props local so the whole town benefits from the Old Settlers celebration! Summer is a great time to watch yard sales, and Hillsboro is home to several resale shops. And remember - all entrants will receive free ride tickets and the winners of each category will earn cash prizes.
